Eat, Drink and Raise Funds
 The
biennial fund-raising Healthy Food & Good Wine was quite a taste extravaganza.
More than 250 guests enjoyed delicious gourmet foods and a variety of
wines during the event held in the Medical Mall at Saint Joseph Health
Center in April. Honorary chairs for the event were Abe and Linda Gustin.
This year's event netted more than $80,000. Proceeds will make it possible
for the Saint Joseph Health Center Foundation to continue to provide the
best of both "high tech and high touch" in the care of patients,
as well as continue to respond to health care needs in our community.

Fore Fun and Fund-raising
The 13th Annual Alex George Memorial Golf Classic is
scheduled for Monday, August 28. The golf classic provides an opportunity
for over 200 golfers to play 18 holes of golf, either in the morning or
afternoon--having a good time while contributing to the Saint Joseph Health
Center Foundation.
Auction in the Medical Mall
On Sunday, August 27, a reception and auction will
be held in the Medical Mall of Saint Joseph Health Center. More than 200
items will be included in the auction. There will also be a raffle. Last
year, more than $140,000 was raised to support medical services and community
health education programs. This year's proceeds, a projected $150,000,
will be used to provide state-of-the-art medical equipment, community
and staff health education and the Carondelet Lecture Series. For more
