Ball
Lily Ball, a black tie dinner and dance, sponsored by the Medical and
Dental Staff of Saint Joseph Health Center will take place on Saturday,
April 28, 2001 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown, Count Basie Ballroom.
The event will benefit Saint Joseph Health Center Foundation and will
be used to assist with community health care needs.
Enjoy music by KOKOMO with a special appearance by our very own physicians'
band "The Lily Blues" with members Mike Reilly, MD; Doug Knox,MD; Jed
Ervin, MD; Mike Sweeney, MD, and Rich Morgan, MD.

Need to rent a tux for Lily Ball? Studio 3 Formalwear has agreed to donate
a portion of your tuxedo rental to Saint Joseph Health Center. Studio
3 Formalwear is located in Margie's Bridal at 9038 Metcalf Avenue. When
you go in to rent your tuxedo, simply tell the clerk that you are attending
the Saint Joseph Health Center Foundation Lily Ball.
The Kansas City Marriott Downtown is offering a special rate of $89 per
deluxe room for Saint Joseph Health Center guests for the evening. Please
call 816-421-6800 by April 7 to make a reservation.

George Memorial Golf Classic
Plans are underway for the 14th Annual Alex George Memorial Golf Classic.
Sunday, August 26, is the scheduled date for the reception and auction
which will take place in the Saint Joseph Health Center Community Center.
Come out and enjoy gourmet foods and a variety of silent and live auction
items. Raffle tickets will also be available for some unique and exciting
items. The golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, August 27 at Fred
Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake. Morning and afternoon flights will
enjoy lunch, compete for hole-in-one prizes and a variety of hole contests.
