Patricia A. Lorenz, CSJ, PhD., board chairwoman at Carondelet
Health was presented a 2003 Excellence in Governance award in June
by the Missouri Hospital Association in recognition of her contributions
to the health care industry.
Sister Lorenz was one of six trustees from across the
state to receive the award. She has served Carondelet Health and
Saint Joseph Health Center in a variety of capacities since 1975.
“Sister Paddy’s leadership and commitment
to the mission and vision of Carondelet Health have been instrumental
in ensuring our continued success,” said Michele Schaefer,
CHE, CEO of Saint Joseph Health Center.
MHA’s Excellence in Governance awards are given
annually to hospital trustees whose service and dedication have
demonstrated a true understanding of the health care industry.
