Carondelet Health is always looking for ways to improve
customer service. That’s why Saint Joseph Health Center recently
opened its first “outpatient only” center.
“We really needed this to better serve our outpatients,”
says Dennis Sousley, director of Radiology. “When you have
the same equipment serving outpatients, inpatients and ER patients,
it just creates too much room for delays.”
The center is located on the main floor of the medical
office building (building C) on the health center’s campus.
“It’s more of an outpatient friendly environment and more
convenient,” says Sousley, “There is a private waiting
room within the center for their comfort.”
“We can now schedule outpatients with almost no
delays,” says Sousley. “MRI and CT patients can be seen
within one or two days.” The center also offers mammography
screening. “We’re really excited about this center. It
offers patients all the benefits of screenings within a hospital
without the delays.”
