Alex George Memorial Pro-Am
It’s tee time! The Alex George Memorial Pro Am
Golf Classic, now in its 16th year, will be held Monday, August
25, at Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake. Celebrate the
tournament and its winners at the gourmet reception and auction,
presented by the Nigro Brothers, beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday,
August 26, at historic Longview Farms.

Special thanks to classic co-chairs, Alex George, Jr.,
and Phil Orscheln and reception chair, Hayley Carter, MD. Corporate
partners include ARAMARK Healthcare Support Services, the Orscheln
Family and Superior Lexus.
Event proceeds will touch the lives of thousands in
our community through the expansion of outpatient services at Saint
Joseph Health Center’s Emergency Room, Senior Clinic and Pain
Clinic.

This year’s Lily Ball was the most successful in
its history.
More than 625 guests enjoyed dinner, cocktails and dancing
at the April event, a black-tie charitable gala. Proceeds exceeded
$160,000 and were used to enhance the telemetry monitoring capabilities
at Saint Joseph Health Center.
Jerry Mancuso, MD, and wife, Terri, were the gracious
co-chairs for this biennial gala. Guests danced the night away to
the sounds of Kokomo and our own physician band, The Lily Blues.
Prior to the event, a benefactor reception was held at the home
of Mike and Mary Jo Phelps.
