Balloon Launch
Residents and staff of Carondelet Manor launch balloons to mark National Nursing Home Week

National Nursing Home Week was May 11-17 this year. The America Health Care Association established the week-long celebration in 1967 to bring attention to the quality of life offered to residents of nursing homes and to acknowledge the residents, staff, families and volunteers.

The balloons launched from Carondelet Manor held papers with the address of the facility. Organizers hoped those who found the balloons would respond.
