Lily Ball Sets Record

On Saturday, April 26 at the Overland Park Convention Center, the Lily Ball raised more than $160,000 for the enhancement of telemetry monitoring capabilities at Saint Joseph Health Center.

Dr. Jerry and Terri Mancuso were the gracious co-chairs for this biennial black tie gala sponsored by the medical and dental staff of Saint Joseph Health Center. More than 625 guests danced the night away to the sounds of Kokomo and the health center's own physician band, the Lily Blues. In addition, prior to the Lily Ball on April 10, a benefactor reception was held at the home of Mike and Mary Jo Phelps to kick off the festivities.

Occurring every other year since 1987, the Lily Ball has raised a total of $872,000 since its inception. This year's Lily Ball was the most successful ball ever. Proceeds have been used to purchase medical equipment and assist with community health care needs
