On November 2 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, the new president and CEO, Bruce Van Cleave MD affirmed publicly his commitment to the Mission and Values of Carondelet Health and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. More than 125 attendees witnessed this missioning ceremony honoring the 129 year history of the Sisters in Kansas City, celebrating the present strengths of Carondelet Health and preserving the healing ministry in the future. Guests enjoyed an inspirational afternoon of song and prayer followed by an informal reception.
"We are joined continuing this legacy," shared Dr. Van Cleave in his comments at the ceremony. "in brining to life a mission articulated by the Sisters and modeled by the Sisters and now for us to share, maintain, sustain, enrich and grow and pass it on to those that follow in better shape than when we started."
