Volunteers at St. Joseph Medical Center are critical to the operation of the health center. Without the 115,000 volunteer hours donated each year, the health center would not be able to provide some of the essential services and programs. That's one of the reasons why volunteers find their work so satisfying.

Volunteer at St. Joseph Medical CenterThe men and women of the St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary are all ages and come from different walks of life. Their varied skills and talents add to the strength of the auxiliary and its important contribution to the health center. In addition to the vital role volunteers play in providing services, the auxiliary also raises about $125,000 a year for a variety of community programs, equipment and capital improvement projects.

The St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary also offers its volunteers a chance to meet other people with similar interests. Social activities like monthly birthday parties, trips and get-togethers are organized frequently by and for auxiliary members.
