Foundation is an investment in our community and a demonstrated commitment to
preserving the dignity of life for all.

The foundation is dedicated to raising funds and encouraging community involvement
in support of our mission. St. Mary's Medical Center and the foundation are
faith-based, non-profit institutions. Charitable gifts from our donors provide
financial resources so that we may provide high quality care to our patients
and save lives every day. Through an annual gift, you will join those who are
enhancing the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
Donors to the foundation provide gifts for:
- Annual Fund - Community Partners support programs that provide healthcare
for those in need, continuing education for nurses and clinical staff as well
as current equipment and technology needs of St. Mary's Medical Center.
- Friends of Nursing - Donors who celebrate nursing excellence help fund
recruitment and retention of nurses, continuing education opportunities and
programs and projects that impact patients.
- Memorial and Tribute Gifts - Donations are made in honor or memory of
a special friend or loved one.
- Capital Campaigns - Funds help expand facilities and purchase new equipment.
Past capital campaigns have included expansion of the Emergency Room and construction
of the medical mall.
- Friends of St. Mary's - This membership organization for community members
is dedicated to supporting the mission of the medical center through advocacy
and financial support.
Gifts to the foundation provide support for programs that include:
- Quality Healthcare - The latest advances in medical technology to provide
the highest quality care
- Mission Fund -Provides financial assistance to patients without medical
insurance or means to pay
- Nursing Education - Helps nurses and clinical staff with continuing education
needs
- Spiritual Care - Sustains the medical center's Spiritual Care Department
- High-Risk Obstetric Care Program - Provides counseling and pre/post-natal
care for socially at-risk women
All donors play a significant role in ensuring future growth of St. Mary's
Medical Center. All donors are recognized annually in the foundation's donor
report publication at the following levels:

Associate $1,000-$4,999
Sponsor $5,000-$9,999
Investor $10,000-$24,000
Guardian $25,000
St. Mary's Society
Donors are honored for cumulative gifts of $5,000 or more over the lifetime
of their giving with membership in the St. Mary's Society.
Heritage Society
The St. Mary's Heritage Society was established to recognize donors who have
remembered St. Mary's Medical Center Foundation in their wills, trusts, charitable
gift annuities or insurance policies.
