What is Lifeline?
Lifeline is an easy-to-use medical alert service that works with your telephone service to ensure assistance is always available. Whether you need emergency services or just the assistance of a family member or friend to help you get back on your feet, we can help you 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week.
With Lifeline, when help is needed, the individual just presses a waterproof Personal Help Button that can be worn as a pendant or wristband. A personal response associate responds quickly and assesses the situation. The associate can determine whether a visit from a neighbor or a family member is required and can contact them. If emergency services are needed, the associate dispatches emergency responders and retrieves providers relevant medical information from the individual’s profile all while they’re on the line with Lifeline.
Confidence and Peace of Mind
Life is unpredictable. Knowing help is available at the push of a button can relieve anxiety about an unexpected fall or medical emergencies when an individual is home alone.
But remember, the Lifeline service is not just for medical emergencies. It allows individuals to:
- Answer the telephone through the personal response device without having to rush to grab a handset and risk falling
- Maintain peace of mind
- Enjoy a stronger sense of well-being.
Lifeline has helped provide more than 6 million people with the peace of mind and confidence to help maintain an independent lifestyle.
